How do I find out the price of a Giclee print?
Contact me through this website, telling me the name of the painting, the size you want, and your location (city, country). Once I receive your information, I can quote you a price. The price I give you will include shipping and sales tax (if applicable).
Can you give me a break-down of the costs of the print and shipping?
Yes, I can break it down for you if you request it.
How do you determine the cost of a Giclee?
The price varies according to what size it is (the larger the size, the more it costs to print it), and your location. FedEx shipping prices varies with the item's weight, but more importantly, where it's going. Because FedEx shipping varies so widely, I am unable to determine one fair price that fits everyone. That's why my prices are not listed on this site. Also, sales tax is assessed for California residents.
Can I get a different size than the sizes you list?
Yes, you can request a larger size up to about 40 inches.
Can I request a shipping method other than FedEx?
Sorry, no. Your painting will ship directly from my printer, who uses FedEx exclusively. FedEx has been found to be the most reliable, and they have specially-constructed pyramid tubes which help to assure that your print arrives safely.
What payment method do you accept?
At this time, I can accept only Paypal.
How long will it take for me to receive my Giclee?
From the time you place your order, please allow about to 21 days for delivery to U.S. destinations, and 4 weeks for International destinations from the time you place your order. It will take 3-5 days for the custom order to be printed, and then several days for Fed Ex to deliver, depending on your location. You will receive tracking information once your package is in transit. I will notify you personally in case of any unexpected delays on my end.
How does the Giclee arrive?
Your canvas print comes unstretched and unframed. Your standard order includes a 2” white border, which allows you to have it stretched over stretcher bars, or have it dry-mounted on a stiff board with attachments on back for hanging it. Your print does not need to be framed or placed under glass. Of course, you can also choose to have it framed in any style that suits your taste.
Your framer may suggest a spray to protect the print from UV rays. This is entirely optional. The inks used in printing are highly resistant to fading, even in direct light (though as a precaution, it’s always best to hang the print out of on-going direct sunlight).
Can I return the Giclee if I don't like it?
I want you to be delighted with your purchase! If you are dissatisfied for any reason, your print may be returned without question for a full refund - minus the shipping costs - within seven days of delivery,
Do you offer "limited edition" prints?
If you desire a Limited Edition, print - that is, one that is hand-signed by me personally, contact me by email, and we will make arrangements. There will be an additional $20 charge for a Limited Edition.
